The program is based on the concept of sharing meals between those in developed countries and children in developing countries and the money raised is used to provide school meals to children suffering from hunger worldwide. Approximately 650 organizations including companies, public offices, universities, and hospitals, participate in this program to provide school meals and to support vegetable garden and productivity improvement programs mainly in five countries in East Africa and Southeast Asia (Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda, and the Philippines).
